Summary

Chest Imposters is a Battle Mod that is unlocked in the Royal World. In this Battle Mod, there is a chance that a Chest Imposter will spawn next to a chest, preventing the player from picking another character for their squad until defeated. After being defeated, it will drop some loot and the player can open the chest. At the center of the map, a Chest Menace guards the Gem Mine, which can be defeated for more loot.

Useful Characters

• Attackers: Attackers are quite good at dealing with the Chest Imposters quickly, allowing the squad to safely open a chest afterwards.
• Shelly: Chest Imposters have charging attacks which can be interrupted by a well-timed Super Shell from Shelly. Super Shell can also be useful against the Chest Menace later in the match for the same purpose.
• El Primo: Similar to Shelly, Flying Elbow Drop is able to stun the Chest Imposters, buying more time to defeat them. Although he does less damage, he has higher health, allowing to take a hit in a pinch.
• Max: Max boosts the speed of your squad greatly, so that you can deal damage and dodge the Chest Imposters efficiently or escape from an enemy squad.
• Healers: It is important to prevent the squad from losing too many members so that they do not struggle against Chest Imposters to enlarge themselves. A Healer ensures that the squad can be kept alive to allow it to gain more members.

Strategy

• If the Chest Menace is at low health, recharge your Boots and wait for someone to deal damage and destroy it, so you can collect the gems, which will be spread around in a large circle, using your Boots.
