Greg is a Common character who can be unlocked in the Green World. He has moderate health and low damage. He attacks from close range by punching the enemy with his fist. For his Baby ability, Greg wields an axe that he can only use for chopping down trees which drop loot when destroyed. His Classic ability allows him to chop trees twice as fast. His Super ability allows him to get more loot from trees, and his Ultra ability makes trees drop a heart when destroyed. In his ultimate form trees drop twice as much loot. His origin game is Hay Day.

Strategy

Offensive Strategy

• Greg is not your typical damage dealing troop, as Greg should be used early on to chop trees and make a bigger squad giving you an advantage to the other players.
• Greg is extremely useful in Tree Giants as he deals more damage on them due to being considered trees.
• Unlike with Mavis, Greg can be quite useful even late in the game, as the center of the map still has trees to chop down.
• Greg pairs well with Hog Rider. Hog Rider's Baby ability gives a speed boost whenever the player enters grass, and every tree is located next to grass, allowing Greg to always chop down the trees fast. This can be further amplified with Barbarian King, who is able to affect both characters, even being able to increase Greg's tree chopping speed.

Defensive Strategy

• Greg has no defense mechanisms, so he should generally not be picked for defending. It is better to use other melee characters to take damage, such as El Primo.
• Greg is not always needed to be picked, as a Bomb spell can also break trees. As such, you can skip picking him if you can utilize Bomb spells to break trees.

• Greg's name derives from the Greek name "Gregorios", meaning "watchful" and "alert".
• The tutorial tree actually has different loot than the usual one, as it only drops 4 gems.
